Job Description:
As a member of a dynamic Technical Marketing Team, this position is a key contributor role responsible for creation, development & deployment of meaningful, technical and relevant service provider targeted IP-focused demos and technical marketing activities for our cutting-edge NetScout nGenius Service Assurance products. Additional contributions by way of technical use case scenarios and best practices solution guides may be required.
Essential Responsibilities:
-Champion and own responsibility for demonstrating NetScout's Service Provider products and technology to deliver high quality Demos that address market requirements and customer expectations in service delivery assurance
-Create demonstrable Service Provider real-world scenarios and create the scripting that best reflects the value, messaging and competitive positioning of our solutions specific to each provider (wireless, fixed line, or cable)
-Project manage product and solutions demo programs that are complex and have cross organizational impact
-Create data to support dynamic scenarios by partnering with internal product management, field sales engineering, and product development teams to ensure product demonstrations and scenarios are thoughtfully developed around product releases
-Add Products/ 3rd party equipment and relevant scenarios as necessary to deploy, demonstrate, and drive new market opportunities
-Develop scenarios, design equipment configurations, ship/set-up/staff the demos at service provider focused seminars, webinars, user conferences, partner events and trade shows e.g. Mobile World Congress, as required
-Participating in identifying and developing best practices guidelines, technical solution guides, proof-of-concept studies for service providers
-Participate in customer Proof of Concept evaluations, lead pre-staging, set up and support evaluations of NetScout service provider solutions for testbed insertion or in validation test activities
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of direct experience in computer networking, network management, or communications product marketing or sales in the Service Provider industry
-At least 2 years of direct sales engineering experience with service provider IT customers; specifically wireless required; fixed line, cable operators a plus
-Experience with service provider customer engagements, with past experience supporting a field sales organization
-Technical Marketing, Sales Engineering or Technical Support networking experience with network infrastructure equipment vendors to service providers preferred
-Experience in wireless required and wireless, wireline, and/or cable operator service provider network operations or management a plus
-Knowledge and understanding of service provider networking technical issues, service delivery performance challenges, IP-based network architectures for service providers, IP/MPLS, VoIP & converged networks, P, PE routing, Carrier Ethernet, service SDP, servers, multi-tiered application architectures
-Strong powerpoint skills with proven experience in expressing technical concepts and designs in powerpoint documents
-Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite skills
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Advance communication skills, including technical writing and presenting
-Ability to work in cross-functional environment as a team-player
