Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this position is a software test engineer with experience designing and implementing test solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
-Performs testing of interim and final software releases of NetScout Network Management Products
-Accurately characterizes and enters defects into tracking system
-Develops test procedures, processes, and writes detailed test plans
-Works with software developers to identify issues during development cycle
-Works with Customer Support organization to help resolve post-release issues
Requirements:
-5 plus years Software Quality Assurance experience
-BS Degree in Engineering or Technical curriculums required
-Excellent verbal/written communication skills
-Networking (Ethernet/ATM/Frame Relay/WAN/POS) background a plus
-RMON/SNMP in Network Management background a plus
-Knowledge of Smartbit/Sniffer/TCPReplay Packet regenerations preferred
-Linux experience is desirable
