Job Description:
We are seeking talented, Senior Software Engineers who work with limited supervision and are responsible for the development, testing, documentation, and analysis of software applications in an embedded environment. Assignments involve the design and development of applications for a networking monitoring product. Technology used will be embedded Real Time software development using C on a proprietary as well as Linux OS.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
-Analyze requirements, design, develop, document, test, implement and support modules for a network monitoring agent
-Analyze complex issues and develop and deploy appropriate solutions using judgment within defined practices and procedures
-Write code, develop and execute testing and debugging routines, and document work and results
-Contacts are intra-organizational and may include external customer contacts
Requirements:
-3 to 6 years working knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, Routing protocols, and enterprise applications
-Solid C programming skills
-Experience in embedded real time Software Development environment and ClearCase source control preferred
-Excellent analysis skills
-Minimum level of education: BS in CS, EE or equivalent
-Good understanding and knowledge of algorithms and data structures
-Experience with network management test tools and products is a plus
-Excellent communication skills
